My sister told my SO about using a wooden rolling pin to help ease my back discomfort and I-have-to-tell-you, it was the BEST! Try it if you're into massages. I used it on his back and he loved it.
I just saw something like that at Bath and Body Works...almost got it! I think I'll go back now and pick it up! THANKS for the tip...and happy back rubs!! :-)
Piggybacking onto your great idea...Tupperware makes a rolling pin that you (usually) put cold water into. For backrubs though - hot water is that *little extra* AHHHHH...
I wish I had remembered this 2 days ago - I had a lower back ache that had me in tears, literally.
