my pnv doesn't have dha/omega 3 suppliment in it and I just ran out of the expecta I was taking. Is it still important at this point? Trying to decide if I should get more/how much.
I'm not sure, but I would still take it. The Expecta package says its for both pregnant and nursing moms. I'll prob continue to take my pnvs and expecta while BF'ing
I guess I better start remembering to actually take my pnv! Lol ever since I started my meds to stop contrax I've totally left out my pnv's which makes no sense!!!

thanks. I couldn't remember if it was early in pg that I heard it was most important or later. I suppose a few days of not taking it won't be that big of a deal though huh. Heck when I was expecting dd I didn't take any at all and when I asked my doc about it this pg he said it's mostly just marketing making women think they need the suppliment but it won't hurt.
I was taking some overpriced prescription vitamins with the DHA supplement, and when I asked my dr. about the price, he said that the Target brand vitamins with DHA were essentially the same thing. $8/box versus $50/box - I'll take it!
Re: dha suppliment still important at this point?
Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)
This is what I have heard as well.
Same here.
