Curious to see if anyone else is considering this...

  • I really, really want to. It feels like a once in a lifetime thing to watch. But I really, really like to sleep... So I am in the maybe camp. Big Smile

  • I'm going to set the DVR so I can start watching at a reasonable hour.  I noticed BBC America is running the whole thing three times - real time, then twice later in the day.  There are lots of ways to see it without having to get up before the crack of dawn :)

Thank you, thank you for pointing out the obvious to me!

  • I'll watch it but not at 4am
  • I remember getting up early for Diana and Charles' wedding but that was before DVR, 24 hour news and the internet so I won't be getting up because I assume it is going to be on repeat for at least a week!

  • I am getting up to watch it...only because if I don't watch it before work, I'll miss the anticipation of seeing Kate's dress, the walk down the aisle etc. since it will be all over the internet by the time I get into the office.

I LOVE sleep but am looking forward to my early morning coffee and alone time.

  • LO usually wakes up at 4 am. We usually nurse in his nursery in the rocker and I keep it very dark and quiet and calm, but I think I'll take him down to the family room on Friday and watch a few minutes here and there. Of course, if he decides to STTN all of a sudden that night, I'll just watch it during the day on Friday :-)

  • We're planning a viewing party at work later in the day. With scones and tea. I love my office.

  • dvr...it's a wonderful invention!
  • Well, DH is off Friday so he has graciously already assumed baby care so several girlfriends can come over to our house and watch it - at 6am!  My mom, her friend (whose mother is British), and my sister watched Diana's live at 2am and all three of them will be here to see this one!  I even ordered clotted cream for the event.

It also helps that I don't work Friday.

  • I will set the DVR, but C wakes up around 5:15 to nurse, so I will just take him down to the den and watch as he feeds and then watch what I miss either online at work or later Friday evening.  But I must see the dress ASAP.

This! My mom is in town, and I'm waking her up, too :)
