6 Months Today - Intro

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say a quick hello. I just looked at my (giant-sized - sorry) siggy and saw that today made six months. I thought I might check in a little on this side, if that's ok.

Our story, in a nutshell: I'm approaching 37. I have a history of endo, polyps, fibroids, ovarian cysts. Was married in Jan. 2010. Started trying asap, Got pregnant in Aug. 2010. Lots of bleeding. NT Scan at 13 weeks in late October. No heartbeat. Estimated to be about 12 weeks in size. Found out our son, Gabriel, had Trisomy 18. Fast forward to March... head off on vacation. Get BFP. Next day, chemical pregnancy (short one, at that).

Now we're with a fertility specialist (RE, I guess, as most of you call it). We've done an SA and are having another done, and a great deal of bloodwork. Daily cycle monitoring this month with u/s and blood work. If it's BFN this month then I have day 3 bloodwork & a saline sonogram in early May.

I spend most of my time on TTCAL, but occasionally head over to T-TTC and TTC +35, but mostly just lurk there. I couldn't have gotten through the last 6 months without TTCAL, that's for sure, and I care very much for the women I've "met" here.

Lately, I've been extremely sad with a mulitude of births around me, and my EDD approaching on Mother's Day.

I'm sorry that this is where you have found yourself to have to be, but welcome to the board. I hope that all goes well with your upcoming RE appointments and you can come up with a good plan.
