Does your DC play with Matchbox-type cars and if so

what age did they start?  I am cleaning and might get rid of them.

    ds and dd started playing with Matchbox around age 3.  They both still play with them.

    My 5.5 year old still plays with them and has ever since he was little....anything to do with cars, trucks, tractors etc.  Now he's more into Lego's and the cars have been relocated in his room because he doesn't play as often.  My problem is that we've received SOOO many hand-me-down cars that now we have so many....and we don't know what to do with them!  (I mean...we have 2 big bins in the barn full, a huge storage bucket full in his room, and some others laying around in various parts of this house)

    I vote for reducing it to one bin of his favs and give away or sell the rest.  I am on a major purging mission right now but my house is not huge and we have too much crap right now, if I had a barn I might be in trouble!

    My nephew started playing with them before he turned 2. He loves matchbox cars.

    DS is 3 y/o and DD is 4 y/o and they both play with them, DS just started w/in the last few months. My nephew is 5.5 y/o and still plays with his.

    DS started playing with them about 18-24 mo. Now, both DS and DD play with them almost daily. DS loves them, and DD loves playing with DS with them.
