I should call the pedi, right?

K woke up Monday through the night with a cough & fever of 102. Called the pedi in the morning & took her in. She has an ear infection & is on antibiotics. Fast forward to today. Fever is gone, and her ear seems better, but her cough has gotten much worse, and she's really congested. I should call again, right? I've been doing Vicks, humidifier, honey, and suctioning her nose, but none of it is helping. I don't want to be one of "those" parents, but I don't want it to turn into anything worse either.

What does Dr. BOTB say?

Do we have the same kid? I actually brought Chase in for a cough & fever since the cough had been going on for over a week. They found an ear & sinus infection. Started antibiotics yesterday but the cough is what is making him miserable. My plan is that if the cough is still bad come Monday I will call again.

mine just has the cough/congestion, but he's had it for a couple days now, so I'm calling. I vote call anytime you are asking yourself "should I call?" because the least they could say is you are doing everything you should be.

I hope she feels better soon!
