Ours looks about 50/50 blue/green if you consider my husband's eyes green, but hazel is not an option. His eyes change depending on the season and the light so hard to say! Pretty cool though
100 blue for us, however I cannot tell you the number of people who have told me oh your baby is going to have brown eyes.
Sad the number of people who have forgotten all about Mendel, bean plants, and punnett squares.

Hmmmm....nobody on either side of our families have green eyes (my parents are blue and brown.....SO's parents are blue and brown....and him and I are blue and brown......none of our siblings, cousins, relatives have green eyes)...but there is a 12.5% chance of having green eyes. It would be interesting to have the only person in the family with green eyes!

It is possible for the baby to still have green eyes if neither you nor your husband does because the way eye color works is based on the amounts of different pigments that are made. In a simplified way of thinking about it, blue is actually the absence of any of the pigments, green is a bit of the pigment, and brown is a lot of the pigment.
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
EDD - October 13, 2011 - Can't wait to meet our little one!
BFP cycle
50% Brown, 35% Blue, 15% Green. DD has brown, although they didn't turn until super late. We'll see what the next one has!

well I have no idea since it said my eye color wasn't possible lol I put in green eyes for both my parents, which are true and brown for me (they're kinda hazel, but def more brown than green) and they said it was impossible for me to have brown eyes so....but when I put I had green eyes it was ok, so who knows, looks like 66% green, 33% blue

This! I am so glad I wasn't the first person to say it. It is a remote chance that two people with blue eyes can produce a child with brown eyes even if the chance is only .25%
16% blue 16% green and 66% brown. My BF is african american, I am white with blue eyes. I WANT our baby to have blue... because I think mixed babies are beautiful with light eyes. Either way, I'll love their eyes just as much

This was just on The Doctors yesterday. They had two blue eyed parents with a blonde little girl with dark brown eyes. It turns out that the dad had brown rings in his blue eyes, and they technically called him brown eyed.
We get skewed results b/c my dad is hazel, which I think is really more brown, but H said to make it green. results w/ my dad brown - Blue 13%, Green 13%, Brown 76% results w/ my dad green - Blue 20%, Green 29%, Brown 50%
I hope our kid gets DH's family blue eyes! But with all the brown in my family, I am not holding out too much hope!
Um... Maybe it's just me, but back in good ole biology,I was taught that talking about dominant and recessive, when it comes to eye color, isn't enough. There's more to it when it comes to things like eye and hair color. Other things like freckles, height, attached or detached ear lobes, hair type, etc. are as simple as one is dominant and one is recessive.
Also, aren't ALL babies either born with blue or brown eyes and then they change after awhile?
Either way, what I am saying is.. Not all traits are as simple as one's the dominant and all others are recessive. Oh yeah, and it doesn't help that hazel isn't an option considering both mh and my own eyes are just that.. Not to mention neither of our parents on either side, or our grandparents, have our eye color.. so..?
Either way, it's fun for those of you who can put your eye color in and have a fun little guessy.?

Well, I have hazel, so it is either 25/75% blue/green or 50/50% blue/green.
DS has beautiful blue eyes, so I hope the rest of our kids do too. That is always the first thing people always comment on him!
