It's been a year

Today was the day I first could not find LO's hb on doppler last year. I was 16w. Tomorrow is the day I called the Dr. and the loss was confirmed, and Saturday is the anniversary of the D&E. Honestly I have been dreading this more than anything; more than EDD, more than passing gestational age of when it happened; it's just something about the way the air feels and smells, the beginning of spring and warm temps etc. that makes me so scared. It's also been a year since we found out about MH's health condition that basically changed his life. This in itself is technically a bigger deal, in the grand scheme of things adjusting to that news has been a far more overwhelming task.

I cannot believe it's been a year. It seems so long ago and yet it went so quickly!

Lots of (((HUGS))). I know what you mean about the familiararity of the spring. Everytime I hear Mumford and sons(as silly as this sounds) I get so welled up. For some reason I remember this being the first song we heard as we left the hospital without our Emily. I hope this time goes quickly for you. xoxoxo
