I will of course make sure i see a pic of her dress- but other than that- doesn't matter at all to me.
Ditto this, I just want to see the dress!. I am attending a party for it, but I don't plan on being glued to the tv. It's just a reason to gtg with friends and have some wine and yummy food
I am having about 12 girlfriends over tomorrow morning for mimosas, scones, tea, etc. to watch (we are DVRing it, not getting up at 5!) We have tiaras to wear while we watch I think it is fun, why not have a party? I went into our local party supply store to find little british flags and they told me they sold out weeks ago, LOL. Apparently I am not the only one having a party for it

I remember watching princess Diana's wedding as a little girl and I took DD to see a tribute museum exhibit about her, so she could see what a real princess does (she loved the dresses they had on display, but was not so impressed by all the volunteer stuff she did). I plan to record the wedding and watch it with DD tomorrow. I think it is a big deal for English people and I would like for DD to see a real princess and understand (as she gets older) how different systems of government work and the symbolism and history of the monarchy. This is a fun way to introduce those topics, since she is all about princesses.
Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'll be getting up at the crack o' dawn to watch it:-) I am mostly interested in the dress and what their titles will be and I want to see it in real time. I think William and Kate are adorable together.

I'm kind of excited! I had such a crush on Prince William when I was younger (I was in London when I was 16 with girlfriends and I remember trying to "find" him , lol! DORKS!)
I get up early anyway so I might get up earlier and watch. My DVR is set, though!!
I am excited, but not excited enough to stay up all night watching it. I'll catch the recaps or DVR it. Won't they replay it at a more reasonable time?

I just want to see her dress. I'll probably end up watching the whole thing. Thank God for DVR cause I'm not getting up at 4am when the coverage starts. Besides, it's not that often you get to watch a Royal wedding. It's like watching those TLC shows about weddings and having babies. It's not about you, but you still want to see the outcome.

Kind of. I went to U of St. Andrews with William. I had an 8 student weekly tutorial group with him for a semester, so knew each other's names and exchanged small talk etc.
So in that a former acquaintance's wedding is plastered everywhere and is the event of the year? Yeah, I can't resist. I also can't resist looking at random high school/university FB friends' wedding photos. Though having met him makes the hyper media attention all the more obscene to me.
So that's how I'm justifying it. I'm not sure if that's the only reason I'm interested in the wedding, but I usually don't follow much celebrity hype, so it likely is.
Wow! This is pretty cool!
As for me, no I really don't care. I have some mild curiosity about the dress and the whole affair to see how it all goes, but that's about it. I'm on the West coast - definitely not watching it. I'm sure it'll be all over TV and the internet for days after anyway.
If it weren't in the middle of the night, I would probably watch it. I love seeing different wedding traditions, and I think it would be fascinating to see how the royals do it. To be fair, though, I am fascinated with all wedding traditions, from a lot of different cultures. Since it's happening at a time when I'd rather be sleeping, though, I'll probably just catch the footage later in the day.
I have a friend who is going to a giant party downtown with her dad to watch it with a huge group of people. They invited me to go, too, and it sounds like fun, but I'm rather attached to my sleep these days.

Yes. It's like the total fairytale story! I'm totally into it. I'm in CA, so I hope there is a replay of it, because I certainly don't want to be awake at 1am to watch it. Haha.
I don't care at all. I'm ready for it to be over. I've been going to the gym during Access Hollywood and that's all they have been talking about. It's either that, Jeopardy/Wheel of Fortune, or ESPN.
Re: Poll: Royal Wedding
Wish them all the best- but no. Not really.

Devon! I'm having a party for it too! Making scones, little tea sammies, etc. I can't wait!
But I'm also the girl who throws a party for everything. I had a big Sex and the City party with the end of the show and each movie
This! I'm going to my mom's for a sleepover.
