Was going through my son's soccer roster, this one, not shockingly, caught my eye. Good news is all the other names I spotted were perfectly normal and even spelled correctly.
I had a student who spelled it Fayht. I still think the birth certificate had a typo and it was supposed to be Fayth and the parents just went with it. I see no other reason for the H in her name otherwise.
...at least spell it Fayette, which isn't much better.
I think they were going for the pronunciation of FATE.
Fayette would be pronouned fay-ET, as in Lafayette, Louisiana; or FAY-et, as in Fayetteville County, Georgia. There is also a Fayette County in Texas, but I'm not sure how it's pronounced.
Also, Fayt has something to do with the video game, Zelda. Though I was unable to determine the exact relationship through a quick Google search.
Re: Fayt
YUCK.
Just one little typo... and this could be Fart.
Yeah, that was my first thought.

I read it as Fart at first!! Terrible!
Me too! Hopefully that poor child doesn't have even the slightest weight problem.
