Is your LO rolling back yet?

Is your LO rolling back from tummy time yet? Mine still hates tummy time with a passion, so rolling back on his own would be like watching paint dry. It aint happening anytime soon!

  • Whitney will roll over, only because she is mad as hell to be on her stomach. Tummy time is no fun for baby Whit.

  • Cara rolls from back to belly as of Monday.  Then she gets comfy and just lays there...usually ends up falling asleep.  She has never tried to roll from belly to back.

  • Simon isn't rolling at all. Not even interested. When he's on his tummy he tucks his legs up under him and tries to scoot forward though. Not cool. Indifferent

Mine hasn't rolled yet either. When he's on his belly he scoots forward the same like yours...I think it'll happen any day now though.
  • No rolling here either. She scoots forward a bit on her stomach and also kicks off things when she's on her back. She's come close to accidentally going over a few times. She's fine with tummy time for a while and when she gets fed up I move her. Maybe I should leave her and let her figure out rolling by "crying it out". [I AM KIDDING]

  • No rolling yet.  He really doesn't like tummy time. I probably should do it more, but he is just a happy baby that I hate to do something that I know is going to make him unhappy.
  • We had a week where jay would roll from tummy to back and get upset that he ended up on his back. He really likes tummy times. And then all of a sudden he stopped rolling.
  • Kain rolled for the first time today, from belly to back, he seems to have no interest in going from back to belly though. Last week he didnt seem to have any interest in doing either!

  • DS rolls from his back to his belly, then gets PO'd that he's on his belly.  He's capable of rolling from his belly to his back, but apparently he's not capable of remembering that.  I've been spending a decent chunk of each day rolling him back over to make him happy, then seeing him back on his tummy 2 minutes later.

  • Ds hates, hates, hates tummy time! Well a few days ago he figured out how to use his legs to roll himself over from tummy to back. Now he cries less during tummy time but I need to hold down his butt to get him to lift his head, otherwise he immediately rolls right back over! It's pretty funny actually. He also sticks his butt in the air and scoots.

  • He is rolling both ways now.  Thank goodness because little man hates being on his belly so it was a game of rolling over and mommy needed to fix it.
  • Yep, both ways. It freaks me out because for the past 2 weeks he's been sleeping on his side & it makes me so nervous I can't sleep well.... even though I know he could get back over.

  • Yup. We had to stop swaddling. She spends all night rolling around and not sleeping... I'm tired.
