Lo just turned 6 weeks today and so far no real smiles. He does do sleep smiles even giggles in his sleep. Iam just so ready for a real awake smile. Has your lo smiled at you yet or how old when they started smiling?
My LO was 6 weeks on Easter Sunday, and Monday he started smiling as reaction to the animals on his playmat or when we tickle him. He has also started cooing and making noises when he is happy. It's the cutest thing.
We've been getting little smiles for the last week and a half, but I got the first honest to goodness unmistakeable smile just this morning. Three in a row.
DD is 7wks.

DS is 5 weeks today. He has been smiling since about last week. He has been smiling a lot today at DH. He did a few times before he left for work this morning and he gave DH a huge one when he got home.
DD smiles all.the.time. She's been smiling since about 3 weeks. Now at 6w she does big open-mouthed, squinty-eyed smiles that melt my heart. She coos and squeals also. I have a happy baby and I love every second of it! I'm sure your little guy will do it soon, and you'll feel like a million bucks every time.

For the past one week we have gotten consistent, daily smiles. She has even started to try and find me when I talk to her and she isn't looking at me.
