Rosie Pope watchers...

I have been watching this, and some parts are terrible (pregnant -zillas).  But i like Rosie.  Her store is in my neighborhood, and is super cute (i walk by it a lot).

But i what i really like about her, is that she doesn't make IVF look "easy breezy".  Also, she get all of the terms correct...which i really appreciate.  And she seems smart, and like a good mom.

Even though her IVF is a secondary story line, i think she has presented it better than i have seen other places.

  • I love her and will keep watching even though those women she helps are deplorable, in most cases. I grit my teeth and laugh because: good for Rosie for making loads of money off of these terrible creatures.

She does tell it like it is with the IVF stuff and how it hurts. I can't imagine how hard it must be every day to work with these women and be IF. She is so strong and an inspiration!

E-its a show on bravo.  It features the Rosie Pope mat store, and her helping NYC preggos (read as insane women) prep for their babies.

She is going thru ivf (at CMRI) and just had an etopic preg.  She lost a tube in the surgery as well.  The highlight being, she is NOT an idiot, does not complain about the shots etc...and shows how much she and her DH want another baby.

  • That must be an annoying job, esp if you're going through treatments. Yay for someone who is articulate and informed.

If I go in there one day and see a camera, I will make sure to not ask how the embryo implantation went.

  • I'm enjoying it as well. In some ways, as an elementary school teachr, I can relate to working in an environment with sometimes crazy and ungrateful moms while I struggle for what they have. I like Rosie and appreciate her thoughts/ comments.
