Surprise work shower today!

Well, I kind of knew already, since one of our team members accidentally did a reply-all email that mentioned giving "money for the gift" during our team meeting today. Plus, our usual team meeting, rather than being at a central location (we all work in different places), was at someone's house, which tipped me off.

I got all kinds of cute monkey things, some books, and a very generous gift card that everyone chipped in on. There was all kinds of yummy food, so I basically had a 2nd lunch. Also, one of my coworkers made a diaper cake, and one coworker made a monkey cake (below). People are so sweet!
