Do you have any special "equipment" or do anything special safety-wise? I would like to try it, since DS hates his tub, but I feel a little uneasy about it (hard tub, slippery baby...) DH usually works too late to be home to assist, gets home just in time for bedtime routine.
I am thinking maybe a towel on the bottom of the tub? I would love not to buy anything else...
Or would/do you not bathe together alone?
Re: If you bathe with baby...
No special props needed here, besides the usual stuff (washcloths, soap, and towel).
I never do it without DH in the bathroom. I usually get in the tub and get comfortable while DH undresses him, cleans his bottom, etc, and then hands him to me. Then when I am done, I hand him back to DH who gets him all dried off and dressed for bed while I get out and get dressed myself. Not sure I would try all of that on my own. Maybe you could do baths with baby on the nights DH can be home?

Thanks all! I feel a bit better about it... I think I will still lay a towel in the tub the first time to feel a bit better about it.
You just have me thinking.....
Eww.....
ha ha - I love the "idea" of bathing with LO - and it has crossed my mind on several occasions... but I can't get past the thought that she may pee in the water while we are bathing... and that would get either of us very clean.... LOL
