Hi! I am putting the NOLA back in nycnola and moving back to New Orleans in June. I haven't lived there as a mom so I need some help- first, who are your pediatricians? We are hoping to live Uptown if that helps. Second, we are on the waitlists for daycare at Tulane and at Loyola, but should I be on more? Where do you go? Where should I avoid? Any other suggestions you have would be awesome! Thanks!
Tulane and Loyola's daycares are awesome. I know several people who've been to both. I used to work for Loyola's and would send my kids there in a heartbeat (they are home with my dh though).
Re: Introducing myself and a lot of questions!
We go to Hales Pediatrics uptown, and I recommend them highly.
As far as daycare goes, I'm not sure. We live on the westbank, so that's where the boys go. How old is/are your kid(s)?

My DD will be about a year when we are ready to start day care. She's 9 months right now.
