So I SAH with my DS most of the time but do work one day a week as a 3rd grade teacher (a 20% job share) with a teacher who is on special assignment on my day. It's a really great way to make a little money and keep my hand in teaching while I still feel like I'm spending most of my time raising DS and soon DD.
I worked yesterday and by the end of the day my body was absolutely worthless! Stiff and exhausted and my whole right leg was aching, Today back to the (apparently mandatory) midday nap and I feel like a completely different pregnant lady!
How are you ladies handling this part of the pregnancy??? I feel like the real 'weight' of the pregnancy is really starting to set in.
Re: What a difference a nap makes!!!
I've been exhausted the last couple of weeks- to the point where I have to lie down for a half hour-45 minutes once I get home or I'm completely useless all night. I think it's a combo of being larger plus the heat.
It sucks. I definitely am beginning to understand why people cut down to working part time towards the end.
that's me!
