Tired of being heartbroken every month

My SO does camp work and is gone three weeks out of the month. This is his 4th rotation and it hasn't gotten easier at all. I know the extra money will be worth it in the end, but it is just so hard right now :(

    hang in there.  my dh travels all the time in the fall/winter (talking @ home only about 5-8 days throughout each month, if that).  i know it is hard and i feel for you! if there is an "end date", i'd focus on that...the light at the end of the tunnel!

    I really understand lonely. DH is military and will be deployed the majority of my pregnancy so he can be home for the baby to be born and few months after. It just stinks but I'd rather myself be alone for the pregnancy and him be able to enjoy time with our baby. Plus the extra money will be nice for all the things we need to buy. I try to find the 'silver lining' in him being gone, like being able to eat the foods I love that he doesn't care for, controling the remote and girl time. Its not the same but it helps me if I can think of some good things too!

    DH is in another state for training, then transfers cross country right before the baby's born (I'll be too far along to travel with him) then he may possibly deploy for a year.

    We all understand trust me. It doesnt get easier. Just keep in touch through phone calls- i send DH pics through email and cell phone  try to keep him as connected as possible. Just because he cant be there doesnt mean he cant be informed.
