When did your LO start sitting unsupported?

I was just curious because my DD is being treated for torticollis and her physical therapist said she was slightly behind for that milestone.

my bebe seems to do everything about a month after the "norm". she started sitting well unsupported at 7 months.

4.5 months, but only for about 20 seconds at a time. By about 5 months, he could play for several minutes sitting up.
ETA: I think the pedi said it's a 7-month milestone.

About five months unsupported, four months with a pillow behind him. He has never had a boppy or bumbo or any of that stuff.

Just after 5 months. But she just started sitting up for long periods of time. Before it was 2-3 min tops.

LO is/was being treated for tort (just got released from PT yesterday!) and he started sitting up around 6 1/2 months but he is almost 8 months now and still falls over every once in a while. He still doesn't roll over much at all.

I stressed about the milestones and it didn't do anyone any good. It just made me more frustrated and I felt like I didn't enjoy the baby baby time. The tort is a big stressor but don't let it get you down like I did.

He can sit unsupported but only for a short while. For some reason he has a harder time sitting on the hard floor than something soft like the bed or couch.

Just this past Saturday for all of 12 seconds, and then today like it's going out of style! It amazes me how once she figures something out it's like she's been doing it all her life.
