QOTW: eh, just the normal changes. I had a GLORIOUS sex drive through my second tri this time around. Pregnant sex is fantastic. Now it's just logistically hard and often uncomfortable, which just makes us be a little more creative about things. DH gets a little nervous at first, but he gets over it pretty quickly.
Update: Had my first weekly appt. I'm a fingertip dilated, which is right where I was with DD at 36 weeks. This is great because this guy cannot come early! I have way too much going on right now. Dr. S. is still totally on board and supportive of the VBAC (his words yesterday, "why not give it a shot?") and says that everything is looking great for it. Dos is dancing around great in the belly, and I love that I can identify body parts this time around (butt, knee, foot, etc.). I positively adore being pregnant and I plan on enjoying every second of the 3-4 weeks I have left!
Le bump:
QOTW: I don't have much drive, but that's not a whole lot different from before. I do make an effort though. DH is way turned on by the fact that he knocked me up, and I am obviously fertile. He says its his "caveman propagation of the species" part of the brain, but hey, whatever works. We recently bought a nice apparatus to help positioning, and its been way better and less squishing of the baby. I'll link if anyone is really interested.
Update: I think I'm gaining too much weight, but oh well. I traveled all last week and weekend and that's just what happens. I have a checkup on Monday and we'll schedule all the diabetes testing and pre-admission stuff for the hospital. We are supposed to schedule a tour for our Bradley class, but I have no idea how to do this. Do you just call the maternity ward?
qotw: dh is always horny, so pregnancy has not changed much
i am getting a little more so lately. we've both been sick and stressed with construction at our house, but hopefully we will enjoy it more in a few weeks!
updates: i feel like my vagina is falling out. i have heard this is normal, but it is still disturbing. i didn't have this at all with T, so it's all new to me. i looked down there with a mirror. yikes!! (sorry tmi) it looks waaaay different than i remember. oh well, hope this helps birthing #2/

Ugh...my response to this question will definitely borderline TMI. We are still just as frequent thanks to BF's sex drive...but not so much satisfaction on my end. I'll get close and then it's gone. Poof....so disappointing quite often but whatev...I'm not into quite as much as I used to be but I'm sure it will come back. BF is definitely not the least bit apprehensive....

Everything is going great! I got to see baby on an ultrasound this past Friday and wow...what a difference a month can make. My baby went from 'blob' to having legs and arms and bouncing about! I loved it! I had a garage sale last weekend so I can consolidate things down to 1 room and start fresh with nursery...making slight progress.

update: I'm officially waddling, it's so sad. I went to my new doctor's office yesterday and saw the NP, she was just aight - she's no j a k i at Dr. S's office that's for sure...sniff. ;( ;( she did say the baby is head down so let's hope he stays that way! I meet the actual doc at next week's appt, nothing like waiting until you're 37 weeks PG to meet your doctor.
I've been feeling pretty good overall, although I think I've had lightening crotch a few times, that is not pleasant! and my energy levels are just about gone...naps are my friend these days.
Ha ha! Beat me to the punch.
Update: All's well, or at least well as can be expected. Sleep sucks. Anxiety levels are high. Oral dissertation defense on Friday. Have managed to not snap at my girls or husband too much. *deep breaths*

QOTW: we're having a lot of fun. and hey, i can't get knocked up more if i'm already knocked up, right? ;-)
Update: sleeping horribly. otherwise, things are honky dory. i'm already feeling kind of anxious about finding a daycare, but i'm going to try to put those feelings on hold for a few weeks. we're going on our last hurrah to germany the next 2 weeks! and now that we know we're having a boy, our older sisters are all preparing clothes and stuff to pass down to us.
I'm waaay late but figured I'd respond anyway. :-)
QOTW - hmm...we're less active now, but not a whole lot less than before. DH has been really understanding so that is nice. I was hoping I'd be one of those people who love pg sex, but it just didn't happen. (TMI) It's a little painful so not as enjoyable for me.
Updates - Work is a major stressball right now and it sucks. I feel great though, so I've got that going for me. I start appts every three weeks this Monday. EEK! I'm feeling less terrified of the whole birthing process lately, thank goodness. Still looking just fat (well, fatter than usual) rather than pg which kind of stinks. Oh well.

QOTW: We are less active right now due to the fact that I'm a nervous wreck. I know it's not going to hurt the baby but I'm kind of waiting until we see the baby before I can feel real confident with this pregnancy.
Updates: I hit 6 weeks today. We have our first u/s for next week and I can't be any more excited. I'm feeling super bloated lately and really look further along than I am.
