Well.. not as great as I'd hoped, but this whole cycle has been a mess. Of the 6 eggs, 5 were mature and 3 fertilized normally with ICSI. We're probably going forward with a 3 day transfer.
I was really upset at first, but I just keep trying to think that 3 isn't 0. We were planning on doing a single embryo transfer anyway, so nothing has really changed. The doctor is going to call me tomorrow and let me know more about the quality and how many to transfer. I think we might go for 2 now unless all 3 are perfect.
The nurse did say she was expecting more from me and 6 eggs could indicate diminished fertility. That I did not need to hear. She said it could just be the protocol though. I am trying to tell myself with an FSH of 4 and 22 antrals it's not a fertility issue but a protocol issue. Hopefully this one will work and we won't have to do a second to find out though!
I can't believe there are 3 little embies of me and DH growing like weeds in the lab. It's so cool. Trying to stay positive!

I was in your EXACT position last wednesday after my ER. Last wednesday they got 6 eggs, 5 were mature and 3 fertilized. I was very bummed about too as I thought they would of gotten double the amount of eggs. So I was told I was most likely a 3DT, on SAturday they called me and told me that I had 4 fertilized eggs (1 fertilized later) and that my transfer was going to be on Monday (5DT). When we went in they told us that we have 2 "big beautiful blasts" and we transferred both of them. So bottom line is I know exactly how you are feeling. For me so far in this IVF process the wait time between the ER and ET was the WORST, I too could not believe that embryos that were mine were growing (hopefully) and I could not help them or know what was going on at all times.
Stay positive, I truly believe that mental health is SO important in all of this. Best of luck to you on a 3DT or a 5DT!! Hope those embryos keep on growing!!

I agree!! Grow little ones, grow!!
Three is just fine! Grow embies grow! Good luck, hon!
Yeah, only getting 6 eggs with your number of antrals and FSH is a protocol issue. Sounds like you get a few dominant follies. That should be taken care of through protocol. What protocol did you use? What is your usual CD 3 E2 level?
Many ladies get BFPs with fewer follies (HC got hers with one embie). Don't give up hope yet. I hope you don't even have to worry about protocols any more!!

I am sure with that FSH and follicle count, it is just a fluke. But all you need is one. I hope you get your baby this time around, but if you don't I bet the next cycle you'll get a ton of eggs because the RE will tweak the protocol to make it better.

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

Thank you
I was on the antagonist protocol. I had a 16mm after only 3 days of stims, and by trigger it was 30. I triggered after 7 days because the follies were just growing too big. I Was on ganirelix from day 4 on out. I think the eggs over-matured to be honest. I'm not sure what my e2 normally is on day 3. I'm hoping that one of these little ones sticks, but if it doesn't at least we know what to expect so we can mix up the protocol next time.
Thank you for all your support everyone. I'm praying for one of my little embies to grow and snuggle in at transfer!

Baby Evangeline is here!
I really hope one of these embies gets you your sticky BFP. But, if it doesn't, you may want to try a lupron protocol. I believe mikeandangie, who is now on PAIF, had her first cycle cancelled because of dominant follies and her BFP cycle was on a the long lupron protocol. Since you start lupron in advance, you are less likely to have dominant follies early on. As for the length of time stimming, some women only stim 7-8 days and still get a good chunck of there follies to have mature eggs.
Good luck!
