I have a few months to go, but DH and I can't agree on any names.
I love romantic/unique names like Sienna, Skyler and Gabrielle. DH likes more traditional (in my opinion common/boring names) such as Helen and Brooke.
Ah! I am worried we will never find a name and end up naming poor DD something we both just think is OK.
Two names we both sort of like (but not love) are Arianna and Alexandra.
Any suggestions... or .....miracle workers???? ![]()
Re: Please help with DD name
I think your style is more trendy than unique or romantic. Maybe one of these trendy yet traditional (life is full of contradictions) names would suit both of your styles?
Beatrice
Violet
Emma
Gwyneth
Sophia
Elanor
Adele
Caroline
Olivia
Cora
First, get over the notion of loving a name. It is almost close to impossible for 2 people to love 1 name, especially when they have different tastes in what makes a good name. Once you drop that notion, naming your child will become a lot easier. Once your child is born, if you chose a name you are both comfortable and happy with that name will be loved!
I like both Ariana (spelled with 1 N) and Alexandra. Some other names Eliana, Keira, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Amelia, Natalia
