My little Bean had an EI 2 wks ago, just finished the amox on Saturday. Came home last night with a goopy eye, which was the only sign of the EI before. No fever, no fussing. She woke up in the middle of the night with a low grade fever and what looked like pinkeye. So I called in to work this morning to let them know I'd be late so I can take Bean to the Pedi. And sure as ***, EI is worse AND she has pinkeye. For the FOURTH time. Meds (combined) were $140 (!!!!!). Called to update work and I was told to eat before I come in because I won't get a break today.. So I'm working 11-630 (though I never get out of there before 645) with no break, and I'm not allowed to have food in my room. Farking awesome. I should have just called out for the whole day to snuggle my bean and let dh stay at work.

Re: Frustrated.
Do they not realize there are labor laws that mandate you get a break? Sheesh. Slave drivers.
Sorry about the Bean. Where is she today?
I was about to say...
I'm so sorry bean is sick.
The O'Baby Blog
Texas sucks and does not have a break requirement for employees.
  So sorry about your DD.  I hope she feels better soon.
Sorry for both you girls. Stupid Wednesday.
:::kicks Wednesday in the shins:::
I know how you feel--there have been days when I don't get my conference and I work from the moment I get to school around 8 until I leave at 4:15. Super sucks.
Sorry Cam is sick.
WTF?! I had no idea- after googling 5 ways, you're right. That sucks, I'm sorry.
I hope she feels better soon.
We are going through the same thing. Cold/EI/pink eye. Its awful. And then to have to deal with work on top of that. Ugh! I hope she feels better soon.
Wow, I am shocked about the no break thing. That just doesn't seem right at all!
And sorry about lil bean :-( Hope she is feeling better soon!
