Do your LOs wear their clothes more than once before washing, or do you wash them after each time they wear them?
I am making a packing list for our Florida trip coming up, and I was using a checklist I found online to help me pack. It said to bring two pairs of pajamas for the baby. I only let Katelyn wear clothes one time before washing, so two pairs won't cut it for me. I was just wondering what everyone else did.
Re: How often do you wash your LO's clothes?
Yea, we do. I don't want to be doing small loads every day though.
For some reason, we usually always do at least two loads, each day - even if we were just doing towels, bathing suits, etc. I really hate bringing home dirty laundry, though. I'm strange like that.
I wash pajamas after every wear, same with most shirts and pants. As long as they don't get messy jeans will go a bit longer because he's only got 1 pair that still fits him.
I put him in the same PJ's for a couple nights as long as he doesn't pee through - clothes I wash after one wear though. Sometimes hoodies/jackets he wears more than once as well.

Baby Sister is coming soon!
Wow-- I must be a slacker. Nicholas will wear his clothes until they are visibly dirty. Usually for his everyday clothes he can really only wear them one time before they are so filthy that it would look like neglect if I let him wear them again. As for jammies....I let him wear the same pair for a few days in a row. They sometimes get a little messy w/ food around the collar but quite honestly I dont do laundry often enough/have enough pairs for him to wear a new pair every night. Plus its not gunna hurt him to wear something a little messy.
When we go on vacation for a week this summer (to the beach) I will probably bring 1 outfit for everyday plus 3 extra outfits in case he pees/poops through an outfit for some reason or gets one REALLY gross. I will bring probably 2 pairs of PJs, 2-3 bathing suits so they have time to dry and thats about it.
Realistically I could probably bring less than that since my sister is bringing her 3 boys and with all of us staying in 1 house I am sure she will run the wash daily...or not since I know she lets her kids wear dirty clothes too
This is exactly what we do. Tyler can wear pjs more than once but not usually more than twice, although his diapers are leaking a lot lately. I would probably take enough to wear everything once, and then at least you have the W&D for backup if you need it.

Me, too! I always wash his shirts after one wear, because they're always pretty messy by the end of the day, but when it comes to jeans and PJs, I let him go until they're obviously dirty.

Every day clothes - wash after every wear, pretty much.
PJs - wash after 2 or 3 wears.
Sweatshirts/sweaters - wash when visibly dirty/smelly
We wash all of her clothes after one wear. PJs she sometimes wears twice because if she sees the Elmo PJs, she wants to wear the Elmo PJs.
This is us too. However, on vacation I will make an exception for jammies. At home, she often hangs out in her jammies for a while in the morning and eats breakfast in them. On vacation, she usually doesn't wear them as long, and if we're going to be gone for a week, she often doesn't have seven pairs of weather-appropriate PJs, so she wears some twice.

Everyday clothes get one wear.
Jeans, hoodies, sweatshirts, sweaters get a few wears until obviously dirty.
Fresh PJs with every bath so they get one, maybe two wears depending if she skips a bath.
