Having trouble find a 2day/wk infant daycare provider

We are looking for infant daycare starting in Jan 2012 in the fairfax, centreville or clarendon area.  Can't seem to find someone who is 2days/week.

I found a great one in fairfax called Horizon but they are just 3days/week and up.

Anyone have any suggestions?  I'm open to In home DCP and a nannyshare

    I am interviewing a DCP for a 2 day a week slot tomorrow. I found her through a neighborhood moms listserv. I hope it works out. 

    It is really hard to find PT daycare in this area. I asked the same question a few weeks ago and people recommended DC Urban Mom, local listservs and Craigslist.

    have you looked an in-home as well as center?  I believe Infant Toddler or the FFX County website should have listings for you.

    I was able to find my part-time provider (also 2x/wk) via my county's listing (Arlington).  It seemed all the in-home providers I called were very willing to do part-time (as long as it was always the same days...like tues/thurs or monday/wed.) it was just a question of whether they had any vacancies on those days.

    most centers don't do part-time for infants, are you willing to go with an at-home DCP?

    A lot of in-home places won't know now if they'll have availability in Jan. 2012 but will know closer to the time - just keep looking.  You have lots of time in the world of in-homes. 
    Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.

    Probably to far for you but Reston Children's Center does 2 day a week if they can find someone to take the other 3 days.  Must always be the same days.
