6 week growth spurt...How many days?

Just wondering how many days you dealt with the 6w spurt? We're on day 2, and I'm ready to pull my hair out....

Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    We're dealing with the same thing and also on Day 2! I can't even put DS down without him crying. Last night he was attached to my boob for 12 hours straight. I thought it would never end! 

    Hang in there... hopefully we will both get some relief soon!

    ours lasted about 8 days.... It ended yesterday. thought it would never come to an end!!! try swaddling my lo liked it during thiS GS and still does-- but i wonder for how long. Hang in there its exhausting but you will make it through.

    Holy crap - I am glad I'm not the only one going through this!!! I had to FF DS today for the first time because my boobs just can't produce enough for him it seems. He was latched on for almost 2 hours and when I took him off because I had to go to the bathroom, he screamed bloody murder. He also hasn't slept at all today, which makes matters worse because he is now overtired AND hungry - a lethal combination. We are on day 3 and I cannot wait for this spurt to be over Indifferent

    I have been EBF but since Friday I have been adding a bottle of formula in the afternoon for my sanity.  She wants to eat every two hours and I can't accommodate that with work.  No reason for us both to be upset over milk when formula won't hurt her.

    Glad I'm not the only one. This is day 3 for us, and I can't wait until it's over. He usually is a happy little guy who only cries when he is dirty, tired or hungry, but the last few days he just screams constantly. I FF so have tried increasing his feedings to 4.5oz and seeing if he will take it. He is sleeping right now, but by the time FI got home last night I was exhausted. I'm not used to him fussing so much and fighting sleep. Ugh!

    4.5 days, then about a day break and then about 3 more days. He is a much different baby after though. So many more smiles and calm time. Worth it. If you can, avoid any supplementing, it should help it go faster.

    Four days of hell but followed by 3 glorious night of sleeping through the night. Sadly that didn't last, but at least he goes 4hrs at night.
