Anyone consider taking Chinese herbs?

Hi girls. My DH and I are on our self-imposed treatment break for a few months. I have started reading the "Making Babies" book and the "Infertility Cure" book. Just trying to overhaul my diet, take some different supplements and get some other tips on trying to get as healthy as possible. Both books recommend Chinese herbs. We talk a lot about different supplements on here but I have never seen anyone mention that they are taking the herbs. Anyone ever think of looking into it?

    I take them, from my acu.  My RE isn;t keen on herbs...so I am going to stop before i start my stims.

    My last cycle yielded crap embies...so i figured "worth a shot".

    Thanks Vanessa. That is my thinking too-what do I have to lose. I am on a few months break anyway so they won't interfere with meds. I think I am going to do it. Thanks for responding. :)

    Thats what i figured too...my break kept getting longer, as my cycles were cancelled.  So ive done them about 6 mos.

    I figured, my next IVF really can't get worse...so why not try.

    i have taken them. I am not sure what your issues are but I have high FSH and do not ovulate. They said to take them from 3-6 months and they will work. The positive, I listened to them and took them and after 6 months and then stopping I did ovulate. The negative, I didn't again after that. Was it the herbs that did it? Maybe. They were expensive though so do I keep trying and have that again? I don't know what to do. I do believe they balance the body but it depends what you need them to do on if they work (at least that is what I think).
