When I drink just one soda, no. The night I was super thirsty and tired and craving soda and drank 3, yes. He wouldn't go to sleep and was SUPER crabby.

Nope, not with caffeine. My kids both had reactions to other random stuff though. DD it was curry and blackening spices (like blackened fish). DS was soda and asparagus.
I drink 2-3 cups of coffee in the mornings, and DS loves to sleep almost all day. Maybe it's a delayed reaction though, because late in the evening he is wide awake for hours.

Don't want to steal the post but its not uncommon for babies in general to be fussy for a few hours in the evenings, especially that little. Kellymom.com has info about it.
As for OP, I limit myself to about one soda a week and I notice no affect on DD.
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
I limit myself to one caffeinated coffee a day and haven't noticed anything. I also had one caffeinated coffee a day while pregnant.
One afternoon I did realize after the fact that my afternoon coffee treat was probably caffeinated. I felt so alert that afternoon (DS was probably about 9 weeks) and then had trouble falling asleep that night. Didn't seem to affect DS at all, though.
Re: caffeine?
No.
But I usually only have 1 caffeinated beverage a day.
