I want a Beaba Babycook! I have been dropping heavy-handed hints, so hopefully DH has been paying attention...

That too.
Not to butt in, but read the reviews on amazon before you buy it. I literally had it in my cart to buy when I began reading the reviews and all the mold problems people have had with them. I decided to go with a nice steamer and food processor instead.
I would love for DH to take DS to the IL's and give me the house to myself for a few hours. I'm sure that won't happen, so I've told DH I either want some Aveda lotions or DS's birthstone charm for my Pandora bracelet. Who knows if I'll get anything.
DH asked me what I wanted. I told him either a birthstone necklace with all of our birthstones (and I linked him to one on etsy that I like) or a gift certificate for a spa day.
I would have said sleep, but DS is spending the night at my parents' house this Friday so we can celebrate our anniversary, so we'll catch up on sleep then.

If I want something I'm going to have to remember to tell my H. We don't usually buy gifts for each other for Xmas, B-days, anniversaries etc. If there's something big we want, we usually save up and shop for it together. I'm not sure yet if I actually want to exchange Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts or if I'd rather save up for a little trip or something later in the year.
A Lisa Leonard necklace...they are amazing!! I dropped a pretty heavy hint yesterday, but DH sometimes doesn't get them So I will be happy with just acknowledgment of the day & some flowers.

I don't really care what I get, but I do want my husband to recognize that it's important to me now, without me telling him!
This. But I don't think he will actually do anything. He doesn't take hints well. He was pissed I told him to order me flowers for my birthday. Hopefully MIL will tell him to do something lol

This might sound lame, but... I want to go Cracker Barrel for brunch with DH and LO. DH and I used to go out to eat a lot, but haven't since LO was born, so it would be a treat. And we love some Cracker Barrel breakfast food! And I just want to spend time with the family.
But we'll see if DH even recognizes that it's important now! He hasn't mentioned anything about it yet and I'm waiting to see if he does.

LOL. THIS! His family doesn't ever do anything for mother's day or father's day, so I'm usually the one nudging him to at least send a card. He's pretty good about birthdays and other things though, so I hold hope.
I haven't really thought about it, though. My family usually does a brunch somewhere, so we'll probably go to that. As far as a present... not sure. This may be lame but a gift card to some clothing stores would be awesome. I'm now below my pre-pregnancy weight by about 7 lbs and am probably down a pants size as a result. I need some work pants that aren't falling off my ass.
Just some time as a family, and DH to plan whatever happens. I don't really want a spendy present, so DH said he & P were going to make me something! I'm really excited, actually.
We keep our holidays pretty small so DH and I talked about picking out pictures and framing them for Mother's/Father's Day. Yes it's something I could do for myself, but I'm interested to see if he takes a new picture (probably not since I use the camera all the time and would find it) and/or what picture he chooses for me.

I hate that I am this way, but THIS exactly.
Me too.
I'd like to use MD as an excuse to get the DSLR I've been wanting forever. I don't know if that's in the cards, so I'll take sleeping in and a nice afternoon nap.

Aw, crap. Now I'm not sure! I already have a steamer and a food processor, but it just looks like it would make the process so easy... But yeah, I don't know if I want to deal with the mold issues.

I have had a babycook for almost a year actually and have had NO problems with mold whatsoever. I got it for 50% off from a local babystore that had an awesome coupon, and we've used it to make applesauce and mashed potatoes for ourselves since long before LO arrived. I read those reviews too, and I think the people that all have the mold problems are leaving the water tank lid on after the steaming is over and then storing it that way. It's kind of like steaming up a tiny bathroom and then never venting it with a window or fan. Of course it's going to mold. I just take the top off and let the tank dry out. I really like mine though and am glad I have it. My only gripe is that I put the main container in the dishwasher once (it said I could) and little food bits got trapped in the bottom. It's not a big deal for me though to handwash it.
sleep, someone to come in and organize all of our crap, a massage, a nice quiet dinner with H..with or without the boys, as long as LO doesn't give me the stink eye while I try to eat!

to sleep in that one day like he does sometimes. Jealous! I'm in a wedding the day before Mothers Day so I'm going to be tired & momma just wants beauty rest.
House cleaners!!!!! And sleep would be great, too!
This is what I said on another board with this question! I just want a house keeper for a day - one day of not having to do chores. If they do laundry, then that would be the best gift EVER. I would be happy with a hug and card though.
A day with no kids fighting and my husband in a good mood - I doubt that will ever happen! Oh and also the kids sleeping in past 7 would be nice as well.

I would also like to be healthy. For serious.

That sounds so good. I could tear into some Uncle Hershel's breakfast right now.
