to relax that stress has a lot to do with why we aren't KU i think i may lose my ever loving mind.

I hear it from fertiles.

i hear it from MIL.

i hear it from everyone.

I know exactly how you feel.

I hear it from pretty much everyone but you ladies and my RE. DH's uro said, DH has been known to say it, my dad, my MIL, my SIL....e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e.

My MIL was convinced I'd get pregnant on our trip to the beach after our failed IVF. She thought for sure...

Ugh! (((HUGS))). I have got to be one of the most stressed out, anxious people on the planet and it did not keep me from eventually getting pregnant. I just don't think there is a connection. It's just a way for people to place unfair blame on a person who is already suffering enough. It's. not. your. fault.

Are you in my brain? I keep hearing that, too, and it is driving me crazy.

The worst part is that "relaxing" and "removing herself from stress" actually worked for one of my closest friends after 6-8 months of TTC, so of course she thinks this is the answer for everyone...

i HATE that!

I eventually just started say exactly what you said to us right to their faces.

F-it. If they are making me feel bad, why cant I make them feel bad back?

I would word it more like "Actually... just so you are aware, that is actually pretty offensive to me and anyone else battling infertility. My body doesnt work right, it doesnt DO what it is supposed to do. So relaxing sounds nice, but it really isnt going to help with my health issues. "

Then they just apologize and get all babbley so be prepared for that too if you get the guts to say that

I mentioned that it wont "just happen"....

the reply from a fertile friend, "well it happened to ____, our mutual friend. You should go based on real life examples than what the 'studies' show. just sayin"

I was, at that point, speechless. I was just so mad. Still am.
