Reflux Update....Trial and Error

Today I went and got a lactose sensitive formula. So far no spit ups. After 4 ounces he barely burped. He did get hiccups and coughed a bit (maybe silent reflux) but no puke fests. This morning (prior to the new formula), he had to change, I had to take a shower, and my comforter is now in the wash =)

Not getting my hopes up yet, but the first feeding went well!

How much is that per can?

For a can 19.8oz of Nutramigen it is $32. I am curious how Alimentum compares.

  • Allysunc I saw that and tried the Up and Up Lactose- sensitive. I couldnt quite bring myself to pay that just to try it out. The Lactose sensitive was $14 a can.

  • We tried 5 other formulas before Nutramigen so far Nutramigen is helping.  She still spits up but no more gas pains and waking up screaming.  She is also on Prevacid so I am sure that is helping as well.
