    Oh goodness. That is so scary. We are just a little northwest of the bad stuff, they keep breaking in with new tornado warnings and they have been going up all day (well for about a week!). I hope they are ok. We need the rain bad but could really do without all of the tornados we have had recently.

    We are far away from any tornadoes, thankfully, but also far away from any rain as well. We're getting wind and record heat which is posing a big fire risk. So far no wildfires in the immediate area, but they are to the north and west of us right now.

    We finally got rain (and up to baseball sized hail) this past weekend, and it was able to contain a few of the fires. Today? We have two new fires they're fighting. What's bad is we get a crazy amount of wind, and storms are started here, but they don't drop rain here. It sucks.
