Teething and Eating

Did your LO eat leas while teething? Amelia went from eating three 6 oz bottles at daycare to barely eating 2 bottles and sometimes less. Other than having two teeth coming in she seems to be acting normal. She's nursing about the same at home.

    YES! My dd has even had as few as 1 bottle a day b/c of the teething. Her pedi wasn't concerned. I know it is teething. My ds did the same thing.

    Yep.  DD also had a cold so she did not want to eat much at all.  Our pedi said she could survive on about 16 oz. of formula a day for a few days and that I shouldn't worry unless her appetite didn't come back.  Once the teeth finally poked through her gums, she was ravenous!

    DD cuts way back on eating when she's teething.  We always know when she's not hurting anymore because she starts eating again.
