Infant Care Recommendations

Hi all, I'm new to posting on the Houston board but I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for infant care. We live in the meyerland area and DH works in med center and I work downtown so we are pretty open to location. So far I have been looking at Palmer preschool and country day. What are other places we should be looking into getting on a waitlist?

    I have three friends who work or who have worked at Country Day (before they had kids or moved out of state).  I would go there in a heartbeat if it were convenient to me, just based on what I've heard.

    St Andrews Presbyterian and Bethany Methodist would be good options for you. My son was at St Andrews for 2.5 yrs and we really liked it.

    Palmer is excellent. 

    Another good place is the medical center YMCA on McGregor and 288. DD goes there. I think it's a wonderful place if you are thinking long term, because it not only offers infant, toddler, and Pre-K, it also has after-school programs and summer camp.  

    Also, getting on their waiting list is free.

    Creme de la Creme is super convenient and downtown. There is also a child care workshop coming up. You might get some useful info there.
