Elijah James is here!

Elijah was born on sunday April 17th at 10:38 pm, at 37w 4d, 24 1/2 hours after my water broke. He was 4 pounds, 10 ounces and 19 inches long. We got to come home on wednesday and he is just the cutest little peanut! He is a delightfully good baby and only screams during diaper or clothing changes. He was a little jaundiced at first, but after a few days on formula he could keep down, the jaundice is gone! He has a clogged tear duct or allergies, they don't quite know yet, so his poor little right eye is swollen and puffy. We just got our PKU results back and he is SCID positive, which may or may not have been triggered by a Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID), which both my mother and I have, so we are hoping and praying that its only CVID and not SCID. Any thoughts and prayers you can spare will be gratefully appreciated!
