Re: Diagnose me with allergies

  • I have the same symptoms right now too. I have no idea what's going on - I've never had allergies with all of these symptoms - especially the nausea and fatigue. Maybe there's a bug going around?

  • The nausea, sore throat and dizzy feelings are probably coming from the sinus pressure and drainage.

Are you taking allergy medicine? That could account for the fatigue.

Have you ever done a sinus rinse? I do them daily and they help sooooo much. You can buy a super large pack at Costco. My doc gave me an rx for Flonase (sp?) and it helps a ton.

    Sorry you feel bad :(

  • I have a barometer in my head so every time a front comes through I get a migraine. You might have one, too.  :(

I did recently, too. Dr google informed me that these can be symptoms of allergies or a cold and I guess it was right bc it passed after a few days. Hope you feel better!

Oh good lord, don't say that!  Generally I get aura with my migraines.

I hope its just sinus stuff and not a cold.  My last cold lasted 2 weeks. I f'ing HATE daycare.  I am thinking about winning the lotto so I can quit my job.

No, no. I'm not saying you're going to get a migraine- sorry, shouldn't have used that word.

I'm just saying that your symptoms are similar to what happens to me when the barometric pressure changes. At first it feels like allergies, but more like swollen sinuses than clogged.  I finally catch on to the weather. Hot shower or bath with humidity does wonders if that's the case, though.

  • I have a terrible cold right now, its been about 10 days and I'm finally getting better.  I don't have the nausea or dizziness but the sinus pressure is killing me, I had a wicked headache for like 3 days.  Take some good meds, quick!
  • Yes, the symptoms you listed are classic sinus sh*t. Not to mention everybody in Austin is a sneezing allergy-ridden mess these days.

But my official and highly technical diagnosis for you is allergies with a comorbid side of I've-got-a-5-month-old-baby-syndrome. Your recent posts remind me of how freaking hard it is at that stage, and you are managing it with great aplomb. I found 4-9 months the hardest period, and then I started seeing relief-- more sleep, less sickness, getting the rhythm, etc. May sleep and health find you and A faster than it found us!

    GL!

AH!  I might have a barometer, not a migraine.  Got it.  LLCG not so smart this morning.

That's so nice.  I don't feel so aplomb-y.  I feel like I am barely hanging on.  Makes me wonder if I'll ever be crazy enough to want to do it again.  Its the most wonderful/hardest thing I've ever done.  Yes, my middle name is "Walking Cliche."
