I'm going to set the DVR so I can start watching at a reasonable hour. I noticed BBC America is running the whole thing three times - real time, then twice later in the day. There are lots of ways to see it without having to get up before the crack of dawn

Thank you, thank you for pointing out the obvious to me!
I remember getting up early for Diana and Charles' wedding but that was before DVR, 24 hour news and the internet so I won't be getting up because I assume it is going to be on repeat for at least a week!

I am getting up to watch it...only because if I don't watch it before work, I'll miss the anticipation of seeing Kate's dress, the walk down the aisle etc. since it will be all over the internet by the time I get into the office.
I LOVE sleep but am looking forward to my early morning coffee and alone time.

LO usually wakes up at 4 am. We usually nurse in his nursery in the rocker and I keep it very dark and quiet and calm, but I think I'll take him down to the family room on Friday and watch a few minutes here and there. Of course, if he decides to STTN all of a sudden that night, I'll just watch it during the day on Friday :-)
Well, DH is off Friday so he has graciously already assumed baby care so several girlfriends can come over to our house and watch it - at 6am! My mom, her friend (whose mother is British), and my sister watched Diana's live at 2am and all three of them will be here to see this one! I even ordered clotted cream for the event.
I will set the DVR, but C wakes up around 5:15 to nurse, so I will just take him down to the den and watch as he feeds and then watch what I miss either online at work or later Friday evening. But I must see the dress ASAP.

This! My mom is in town, and I'm waking her up, too
Re: NBR: Will you watch the Royal Wedding? (clicky)

It also helps that I don't work Friday.
