Hi all,
Not to sure how to start so I will just start by saying that DH and I are wanting to start trying for #2. With our first we knew from the get go that we would need help. I had never been regular with my cycles, was lucky to have 1 a year, sometimes 1 in 18 months. And when I would have one it was horrific. So We went to our primary and discussed what needed to be done and ran a ton of tests and in the end we found I had Severe PCOS and severe Hypo-thyroid disease. So I began thyroid meds and was sent to a Fertility specialist. Which in turn was a total nightmare. She was horrible. She would talk down to me and DH, was more concerned with my weight and age than the actual problem and was down right rude to the extent that I would leave in tear after every visit! So finally DH told her off and we decided to take a break.
Well thanks to a client at my job who was a Ped. we were introduced to an amazing Fertility Specialist. He actually sat down and discussed and explained what exactly was going on/not going on in my body. After a few more test we decided to begin with Clomid. This did nothing for us. well except make me a emotional mess and a lil crazy in DH's opinion. So then we moved onto Repronex, 1 vial for 10 days, again didnt get anywhere. Went a few more rounds slowly moving up in how many vials. Had 2 early on MC's and 1 late 1st tri MC that really made me a real emotional mess!
But after 4.5yrs and lots of prayer, we got Pregnant with our Miracle Girl, Miss Lydiah Fyrefli Born 4-10-10 7lbs 9oz 19in at 10:16 am.
Now a year later, we would like to begin trying for #2! Good thing is that I have been having periods on my own since stopping BF and I have been tracking them but they are coming 23 days apart. Im not sure if this is really a good thing or not? What do you think? Anyone else have this happen? I have my annual in a couple weeks and plan to bring this up but until then wanted some advice from you guys! TIA
