I almost always wear polish on my toes (but almost never my hands). However, between not wearing polish on my toes in MONTHS and my prenatal vitamins, my toenails have never looked healthier. My question is this - how offensive are natural toes (clean and trimmed, of course) + open toe shoes?
Yes, this very well may be the most random post/poll in the history of The Bump. Do I win some kind of prize?
Re: NBR: nude toes
I don't think they are offensive, as long as they are well groomed.
Sometimes I think that polish only draws attention to fugly toes.
Braggart bragging about your healthy toenails. ;-)
I'd go with may be a clear coat?
Who are you calling fugly toes?
HA! Just kidding! I know what you mean.
I also have perfect posture and an a$$ that won't quit. JealousE?
I would wear clear polish just to give some shine. I do not find them offensive as long as they are an appropriate length.
That said, oh dear Lord, I need a pedi.
i think feet are gross period, so I am a bad person to ask...
When I was baptized this weekend I was stoked I went first becasue the dude that went after me had gross feet... Afterward, I was sad I thought so because that wasn't a very nice thing to think...

Here's a pic. Appropriate length?
LOLf'inL
Holy chit, TTT! That's impressive.
I hate feet. I ALWAYS have polish on my piggies, though.

Hilarious! Those are some fancy feet
Man, I'm embarrassed. I really need to shave, and there's a stain on my carpet.
First - that picture was completely uncalled for!
I got a mental flash of what the rest of that picture must look like and I will have nightmares for years.
Second - you can skip the clear coat and just buff to a shine. Sometimes a clear coat can actually turn the nail a bit yellow. You don't want to ruin your hi-pro glow by having it turn yellow on you.
I think well groomed nude toes are fine - so long as your feet are clean.
OMG, that just brought me back to about 4th grade.
No, I'm kind of in the same camp, which is why I asked.
Unless your toes are fugly, I don't think there is anything wrong with unpolished.
I always wear flip flops, even if my toes aren't done

All of this-- plus that picture literally made me
for some reason...not cool lol
Yes! WINNING!
Yeah, I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit - ha!

That picture is just wrong! However, my BFF's SIL gets fake nails put on her toes! Seriously, it's gross.
And I am also in the minority because I do NOT like toes with no polish. If I don't have polish on my toes I refuse to let them be seen. I am in desperate need of a pedi right now, but I threw some color on them the other day just so I could wear flip flops.
You are sick, my friend. Sick in the head.
See, this would have pi$$ed me off, since men don't get a vote. I only care about the opinion of my fellow women folk. Duh.
Me too. Maybe I grew up in an uncivilized hippy state, but I don't remember it being terrible to not have polished toe nails. Did natural nails go out of style along with all body hair, natural hair color, and lack of a tan? Or are all of these things that have been on the rise everywhere (because they're certainly popular in this region) for the last 10 years and I'm just too lazy to notice.
I don't care if other people have nude toes, but I won't let my own see the light of day without polish. I don't discriminate against nude toes, I hate all parts of the feet equally.
