  I am sick right now too! Ugh! Don't worry about staying away from lo because they have already been exposed to it and please don't stop breastfeeding! Your milk will give lo antibodies to fight the sickness so your milk is super important right now. I hope you feel better soon!

  Me too! Both me and Dh has a stomach bug over the weekend. I just tried to stay away from DD when I was at my worst and kept washing my hands and using sanitizer. And now both DH and I have sore throats and a cough. I really hope H doesn't get it.

  But- you should keep BFing. That's important.

  It depends on what you have. I had broncitis a few weeks ago, but was told the baby could not get it. So, I was fine. If your on medication you may need to check with your doctor or pharmacist about BF while taking it. Hope you feel better.

  I asked the pedi about this last time and she said to make sure I washed my hands when interacting with the baby, no kissing on the mouth, and to continue as normal with breastfeeding.  Baby should be fine.

  Don't stop BFing - your BM contains antibodies so it's the best way to keep your baby from getting sick. I got a nasty cold when A was a week old and it lasted for about 4 weeks. My husband caught it just as bad, but the baby only had the sniffles for a couple days.
