AW: feeding milestone

I just need to tell other people who will understand what a big milestone this is for me:

I've been breastfeeding once a day with full supplementation for a couple weeks now and in the last few days Cora really seemed to be doing well. I described how she was doing to the doctors this morning on rounds and they said we could try a non-supplemented breastfeed today. I was SO nervous since its still a gamble as to wether or not she will be awake enough to eat for the 20 min required. I was afraid if she didn't do it well today, we'd have to wait awhile to try again.

She did great! She ate for 20-30 minutes with no Bradies. I even pumped immediately afterward and wasn't able to get much since she had pretty much emptied my breasts. I'm so proud of her!
