Got a message from a fellow IF girl...
On Facebook a girl I went to high school with messaged me and basically thanked me for posting the status updates about NIAW and the myths and truths of infertility. I guess she and her husband had some trouble getting pregnent. She didn't go into specifics, but she did say they didn't have to do IVF.
It was so nice hearing some positive feedback from someone that has been there.

Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!

That is fantastic!
I, too, have had a few old friends from HS come out to me a while back -- we have been chatting and supporting each other. One is now pursuing domestic adoption and the other has started her second round of fertility treatments - they took a break of 2 years.

I think it's so great that she reached out to you. And I think it's wonderful that you're posting about NIAW on FB. I'm still in the closet about my IF struggle and I admire your courage and strength for coming out.
