Holy Moly- Does this seem like a high beta

Hi there,

I am 10dp5dt of 2 blasts and just received my beta results from this morning.....662! That seems really high to me! Anyone have a similar beta? Are you expecting twins?

Now I can't wait for my 2nd beta on Wednesday because I know that will tell me more.

Me 32 DH 38 Married October 2008- TTC Right Away! Dx - High FSH, MFI 3 IUI's in 09-10 all BFN July 2010 IVF #1- four eggs retrieved 2 mature only made it to 4 cells-none to transfer. March 30th- starting meds for IVF #2 April 10th- retrieval of 10 eggs/7mature April 15th- 5dt of 2 blasts April 25th- 10dp5dt Beta #1- 662 April 27th- 12dp5dt Beta #2- 1576 2 Girls!     yes that is a great beta!  You can see my betas in my sig for comparison.  Congrats!!

    Congrats!  While it is on the high side, it's not out of the realm of possibility for a singleton.  Check out this site, you can look at single and twin pregnancies for your equivalent of 15dpo: https://betabase.info/showDailyData.php?type=basic&multiples=Single&dpo=15

    That is very high!! But great news! Congrats! I've been told a high beta is not indicative of twins HOWEVER, I would think a higher beta could signal more then one..it would just make sense. Exciting, keep us posted!!

    Congrats! Beta #s cannot tell u if you're expecting twins. Some high betas end up being Singletons and some lower betas turn out to be twins. Only a u/s can tell ya.

    Mine are in my siggie. I had a friends who was higher than mine and shes having a singleton.

    No advice on the beta levels -- we're having twins, but mine were lower than what you've got there (189 @ 9dp5dt and 560 @ 11dp5dt.) 

    Now, you'll just have to wait for your first u/s to see what's cooking in there!

    Mine was 722 13dp3dt!

    Congratulations!! I agree w/ pp that it doesn't 100% mean twins but it could.

    Twins here too but ours were much lower than yours. 

    Diagnosed PCOS 2/07, TTC #1 since 8/09
    11/10 - Clomid Round 1 = BFN
    12/10 - Clomid Round 2 = BFN
    1/11 - Voluntary Break = BFN (duh)
    2/11 - Clomid Round 3 = BFN
    3/11 - Femara + IUI = BFP * Beta#1=56 * Beta#2=266

    Congrats! At 9dp5dt mine was 452, but 11dp5dt it was 1,026. I am having twins.
    m/c 7/17/10
    Dx: MFI- 3% morph
    IUIs: Gonal-F + Ovidrel + b2b IUI= BFNs
    IVF with ICSI= BFP! EDD 11/25/11
    3/18- Beta #1 452! 3/20- Beta #2 1,026!! 3/27- First u/s- TWINS!
    Our twin boys arrived at 36w5d due to IUGR and a growth discordance

    FET: Medicated FET moved up to 5/23 due to ovulation
    Transferred a 6BB hatched blastocyst- genetically normal female embryo
    BFP! 5/28- 5dp6dt      
    6/1 Beta #1- 223! 6/3 Beta #2- 567!

    Thanks ladies for all of your feedback. I can't wait until my beta tomorrow. I feel like time is moving so slowly!
