Graco Quattro Tour Sport vs Graco MetroLite Strollers

For other moms who have had either one of these stroller models, what are some pros and cons?  These both seem like great strollers and I can't decide!  I am looking for a durable, easy to handle and manuver stroller.  I am only 5'3 so I don't want anything giant.

  • We have the Quattro and it was the perfect stroller for us. My son is now 4 and half and we STILL use it from time to time if we're going to be somewhere like the zoo where there is a lot of walking (plus I love having that big basket underneath to put a little cooler and bag). We used to have a Toyota Corolla and the stroller took up most of the trunk room but now that we have an SUV the size is not an issue at all. The stroller is extremely durable (this would be my concern with the MetroLite) and very easy to fold up and load/unload (I am also 5'3" and it was a perfect match for me). I also recommend getting the one that has a drink holder near the handles. Our has a drink holder, clock/temp., and a little compartment near the handles for keys or a wallet (we used that a lot).

  • I have a Metrolite and have loved it.  I like how it is considerably lighter than the quatro tour models.  I still have all I need in a stroller with the Metrolite, like storage basket, kiddie tray with cupholders, cupholders for mama, and reclining seat.  I have no complaints with the metrolite and we've had it almost 4 years and still use it quite a bit.

  • We have a Quattro Tour and it has held up well for 3.5 years, other than a small hole from where the handle rubs on the fabric that hangs behind the seat.  It's really comfortable to use and push and the shocks or whatever make it super easy when out walking at the zoo and whatnot.

Completely agree - we love our Metrolite! I wanted a lighter stroller model since I am petite (5'2"), and both DH and I have been completely satisfied with it! We have the Delancey model. We are now using it for DD #2, and it has held up nicely.
