Anybody ever use Sitter City?

I signed up for one month to try and find a sitter to use on and off during the summer. Its my DH's really busy time with work and I will definitely need the break. Anyway, if you used Sitter City, did you just post a job and go through the sitters who were interested or did you search through all the sitters and contact them that way?

    Same.  

    I did find a sitter who was great, but she ended up having very limited availability so we don't use her anymore.  It was kind of expensive I thought, but it was nice to have so much information in one place, along with references, background checks, etc.

    This.  Also, the ones I didn't use, I wrote back asking for their phone/e-mail so I could keep a list even when my 1 month was up.
