NBR--Real Estate question for Wichita residents

Hi, I'm moving to Wichita this weekend and want to know if anyone knows what the property taxes are like (if you know the rate, that would be great!). I'm originally from TX where the property taxes are super high. Just wanting to know if I should expect more or less house for my money!

Property taxes are pretty reasonable, but special taxes will bite you in the butt. I don't know if TX has specials but they suck!
I think the overall value for your money is pretty similar to Texas though. I have a lot of family in Texas. I think they may get a bit more bang for their buck just because of all the brick!
