I just gave notice to my LO that I will not be renewing her lease another month, I put an eviction notice on her door, and told her she needs to start packing her belongings.... lol
But seriously, I am ready to have this baby. Today I went for a long walk in the mall, had a spicy lunch out, drank raspberry leaf tea, ate a bunch of pineapple, and bounced on my birth ball. DH even did his job in the bedroom to get this labor going
! Just now I finished eating spicy boneless buffalo wings, which I drenched with hot sauce and dipped in ranch dressing.
I know I have a few more weeks to go before I even reach my due date, and I know that none of these things are proven to work, but I'm feeling impatient. Is anyone else doing these things to try to naturally induce labor?

Re: I'm not renewing her lease...Natural Induction Methods
i am only 36 wks and i am still doing a ton of stuff to help labor along. i cant do the dirty since DH isnt here, so i have to think of other things. The other day my dad took the vacuum cleaner away from me.. i was so irritated! i walk forever and chase after my 3yo. i havent tried any spicy food yet tho! that could be tomorrows lunch.
a friend of mine told me an old wives tale that worked for her. Around midnight shoot a shot of castor oil, chase it with a reese cup, and a dr. pepper.. my friend went into labor the next day both times. LOL... i dont want to try castor oil and i hate dr.p so i dont think ill try that one.
Sex, walking, and birth ball sitting are great, so you're off to a good start! Semen has prostaglandins in it, which are almost exactly what are used in medicine to soften and ripen the cervix.
Nipple stimulation has been shown to be as effective in some cases as Pitocin. Using warm washcloths, roll nipples between thumb and forefingers for 2 minutes, rest for 3 minutes, repeat rolling/resting for 20 minutes. Or your can use a pump for 15 mins on each side until regular contractions begin.
Here's a website that has lots of natural induction information, as well as links to research on the different subjects: https://www.gentlebirth.org/archives/natinduc.html
