This may be a long shot...

and I'm not getting my hopes up but let me tell you what is going on.

AF is due today. I had spotting that started yesterday & thought by morning AF would be here but I still have not had any red flow today. I normally do not spot for 2 days before AF. Since I have taken 3 tests, all of which have been BFN and my temps have been so low, I assumed I was out.

However...

Tonight I started thinking that last Monday (6 DPO) my thermometer ran out of batteries so I switched to another one that I had. (I attempted to get replacement batteries but Walgreens didn't sell the right ones so I figured it would be fine since my temp only varied slightly from the previous day) Tonight I took my temp with a forehead scan therometer and my temp was 98.4. Then I took my temp with the BBT I have been using for the last week and it was 97.0. Hmmm. If this thermometer is off by a whole degree, there is a chance I could still be above the coverline and since I still don't have AF yet...I'm not out.

I'm not getting to hopeful because of the 3 BFN so far but I don't feel completly out yet. If AF doesn't show up by morning, I'll be testing again. Please send good thoughts my way!

    I normally wouldn't wish a crappy BBT upon anyone, but I hope your thermometer sucks and that you're really above the coverline! GL!

    I am in the same boat... some spotting but not much and then several BFN's ... but no AF so still in the game. Good luck!

    I'm right there with you...except I've had the same thermometer the whole time.  But I was on vacation this weekend and didn't temp--I was very surprised to see my temp still up this morning.  I've had cramps off and on, and 2 BFNs, so I haven't really gotten my hopes up...but AF was due today, and last month my temp dropped before AF showed.  I'm confused Huh?

    I hope you do get your BFP, but just remember every cycle can be different. Even if you don't usually spot for a couple of days before AF, doesn't mean you won't ever. GL!!
