12 Week Growth Spurt Anyone?

I Definitely think Lilly is going through her 12-week spurt. She has been literally screaming for her bottle every 2-3 hours, and drinking all six ounces (usually I offer her six, but she may only drink 4 or 5), and for the past three or four nights she has been up every 2-3 hours when she has been STTN for weeks now. This is rough! Here's to hoping it ends soon! Anyone else?

  • I think we are right there with you. C hasn't slept well for two nights and has been screaming his little noggin off all day!

  • Here. :( She's been on my boob every 1-2 hrs since 12:00 this morning. I need to cry I want sleep so bad- and I have 2 kids to keep out of trouble today too! Ugh.

  • I'm pretty sure Nadia had hers early at 10 weeks. Last werk she wanted to nurse all day long and if it had been even an hour she would freak out. Hopefully she just had her 12 week early and isn't throwing an extra one in! :)

    Formula - I dried up :(

  • Yes, I think DS is going through it as well.  He didn't gain a ton at his last appt, only 1 lb when they wanted him to gain 2.  About a week after his appointment, he began to want to nurse every 1.5-2 hours during the day.  He also has begun to wake for a feeding at night, he will go down to sleep around 9 and then wakes between 11-12 every night just to nurse and then immediately falls back to sleep.  He previously had STTN since week three, minus a few (less than 3) bad nights.  Now, it is EVERY night that he needs the extra feeding.  He still is only averaging around 10 feeds per day because of how well he sleeps at night, but I will feed him as much as he possibly wants because I really want him to get back on the gaining well boat.

Oh ok, I'm sorry!  But that makes more sense.  6 ounces of BM seemed like a lot!

Yeah I wish I made enough to give her 6 oz every 2-3 hours. I don't think I made that much in my most "lucrative" days!
