ultasound update...good!

Ladies, all is well with our LO!

The sweet little baby's heart was beating and the tech got him/her to move arms and legs a little bit...she needed a teensy bit of movement to get to right measurement for the neck.  I asked about the heart rate, and it was 175 bpm, though the doc that came in didn't want to give it to me at first because she thought I was going to try and determine the sex of the baby.

Anyway, this a a wonderful ultrasound and experience to see our LO, and the two arms and two legs moving all around.  I am so so deeply in love.  Amazing how one experience can ignite such a connection.

I am so happy, I am going to start stripping away some of those nerves and fear that I have been carrying around with me all this time.  It's time to just take a deep breath of relief and enjoy this blessing day by day!

I never figured out how to bump from my android, but I did pack up my laptop to get work done in between appts, so I get to squeeze in an update here!  My OB is behind schedule, I had an appt with her at 3 and I am still waiting.  She also is seeing someone right now who didn't have an appointment, so I am praying that all is well with that momma and her LO.

    Hooray for good news.  So glad yourLo is doing so well. I have my first ultrasound thursday it will be just about 6 weeks I know we won't see much but I a still really nervous

    Hey sweetie- so glad to hear it went well! I am so excited for you! I am looking forward to our screen on Wednesday. I hope you get to go home and just relax tonight after such a busy day!
    After two losses, a rainbow arrived! DD born 11.5.11
    Dx with severe Asherman's syndrome after a botched PP D&C (pursuing med mal)
    Hysteroscopy Oct '13, not enough progress 
    Hysteroscopy Jan '14, given an end-of-the-road diagnosis
    Joined International Asherman's Association April '14 
    Not ready to give up yet.
    Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
    Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
    Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.

    How wonderful to see the heartbeat and the baby waving at you.  I'm so happy you had a good appointment!  I hope this will continue to give you less stress throughout the rest of your pregnancy.

    Thanks everyone, yesterday was a pretty great day.  Since the doctor ended up being about an hour late, I made her get out the doppler at the end of the appointment so I could hear the heart beat, haha!  It was an incredible sound, our little baby's heart just beating away.  She almost didn't find it, and I told her she could stop looking, but I guess she felt so bad for making me wait for this appointment (and my last appointment with her too!).

    Now it's time for me to cheer on the ladies who are still waiting for their appointments!
